I was using a DeHacked version of Doom2 while I made this, and it's set up for use with it. "contents": "HAPYDTH2 - Have a Nice Day (version 2) - for DOOM II v1.9\n\nThis is a modified version of HAPPYDTH.ZIP\n\nOriginal author : Jeff Mitchell Mitchjp@wkuvx1.wku.edu\nVersion 2 Update by : Sparky of KISS Software kelm@eisa.net.au\n\nMods made by Sparky of KISS Software:\n------------------------------------\n- got rid of the illegal doom2.exe (v1.666) file and created an\n equivalent .deh file (patch format 6 for compatability with Doom II\n v1.9 and the various Doom Ports).\n- made all the weapons unlimited ammo instead of just large ammo numbers\n- I didn't recreate the chaingun exactly because the original version\n used the chaingun for both weapons 2 and 3 i.e. there was no Super\n Shotgun! As the Super Shotgun is one of my favourite weapons, I just\n had to add that in and speed it up too.\n- fixed the map faults which were causing the HOM errors.\n- slightly moved the single-player start position so it was a little\n more sensible, and added a Super Shotgun at the start (the main arena\n was no fun at all with the rocket launcher).\n\nTested okay with:\n----------------\nDeathmatch\n This update was only tested with Doom Legacy's split-screen\n multiplayer mode.\n\nSingle player\n 'Plain Vanilla' Doom II v1.9 - you'll need DeHackEd v3.1 or greater\n ZDoom v1.17c zdoom -deh hapydth2 -file hapydth2\n Boom v2.02 boom -deh hapydth2 -file hapydth2\n Legacy v1.28 (DOS) doom3 -file hapydth2.deh hapydth2.wad\n Legacy v1.28 (Win32) legacy -file hapydth2.deh hapydth2.wad\n\nSingle-player Notes:\n-------------------\n- the exit - this is one of the dumbest exits I have ever seen on any\n level! The square area outside the arena has a teleporter in each\n corner. Entering each teleporter from a different side takes you to\n a different location. The exit door can be seen from the main arena\n but you have to get there from one of the teleporters in the outside\n courtyard. Go to the teleporter in the north east corner of the\n outside courtyard and enter the teleporter from the west side.\n Enter slowly because when you appear in the inner courtyard you can't\n move forward at all! Turn around carefully and there's the exit door!\n- the outside courtyard - the upper area where the chaingunners are is\n not accessible in single-player mode. The doors you can see up there\n lead to the multiplayer start areas.\n- the new fast Super Shotgun is pretty cool - while you're dodging\n the Cyberdemon's rockets, checkout the blood trail he leaves behind.\n\nEnjoy.\n\nSparky\nKISS Software\n\nThe original text file follows:\n\n================================================================\nTitle : Have A Nice Day!\nFilename : HAPPYDTH.WAD\nAuthor : Jeff Mitchell\nEmail Address : Mitchjp@wkuvx1.wku.edu\nMisc. Author Info : I am a Computer Science major at Western Kentucky\n University, and a long-time DOOM player. This is\n my first venture into actually distributing the\n PWADs I make, as most of my other ones weren't\n good enough to be distributed. If you have any\n comments (good or bad), suggestions, etc., please\n drop me a line at the address above.\n\nDescription : This level was designed as a deathmatch level. It\n can, however, be very challenging if you play it\n one-player. I was using a DeHacked version of\n Doom2 while I made this, and it's set up for use\n with it. Without it, you'll probably want to use\n the IDKFA code for ammo, since you're gonna run out\n long before you kill the monsters. This level lends\n itself to mostly arena-style combat, which is my\n favorite.\n\nAdditional Credits to : Chris \"Red\" Schneider and Jason \"Potsy\" Poncerolli,\n along with the rest of the guys for their input,\n play testing, and encouragement, and Id software for\n making one of the best games on Earth (and in Hell.)\n\n================================================================\n\n* Play Information *\n\nEpisode and Level # : Level 1 (Doom2)\nSingle Player : Yes, but it's a lot more fun with other people to\n blow up.\nCooperative 2-4 Player : No\nDeathmatch 2-4 Player : Of course, wasn't this Id's purpose?\nDifficulty Settings : Not implemented\nNew Sounds : No\nNew Graphics : No <-- I am, however, looking for a good editor.\nNew Music : No\nDemos Replaced : None\n\n* Construction *\n\nBase : New level from scratch (Actually, I built from\n S1.wad, one of the PWADs included with DEU.)\nEditor(s) used : ADE (an edited version of DEU)\nKnown Bugs : There are some minor texture glitches in the smiley\n rooms, and by the northeast teleporter in the square\n arena. They shouldn't bother gameplay, but if\n anyone knows how to fix them, please send me some\n e-mail.\n\n* Copyright / Permissions *\n\nYou MAY distribute this WAD. You can keep it to yourself. You can burn\nit, and curse the day I was born, if you want to. Authors MAY change, copy\nfrom, or add to, this wad in any way, provided they include my name in the\ndocumentation. If possible, I would like to get a copy of it also.\n\n* Where to get this WAD *\n\nFTP sites: doomgate.cs.buffalo.edu\n\nBBS numbers: This will begin to be distributed in the Grand Rapids area in\n mid-March. Please add the number of any BBS you upload it to.\n\nOther: If you really want it, and can't FTP it for some reason, e-mail me,\n and I will attempt to get it to you. Of course, if you're reading this,\n I can't figure out why you wouldn't have the file."

"title": "Have A Nice Day!",
"description": "A Doom II deathmatch-style tech/stone arena map with lots of STARTAN and rocky brick textures, built around a central combat space and surrounding courtyards. Combat is punchy and chaotic, featuring heavy hitscanner pressure (many chaingunners) plus multiple high-tier threats including a cyberdemon and two spider masterminds, with additional mid/high monsters like revenants and arch-viles. For single-player UV it plays hard and can feel ammo-starved (no placed ammo pickups despite many weapons), and progression leans on teleport routing to reach the exit.",
