DMCA Copyright Policy

gib.gg respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users of the platform to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), gib.gg will respond to properly submitted notices of alleged copyright infringement.

If you believe that material hosted on gib.gg infringes your copyright, please submit a DMCA takedown request containing the information described below.

How to Submit a DMCA Notice

Your notice must include the following information:

1. Identification of the copyrighted work that you claim has been infringed.
2. Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing, including information reasonably sufficient to permit us to locate the material on the site (such as a URL or file identifier).
3. Your contact information, including your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
4. A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
5. A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are the owner of the copyright or authorized to act on behalf of the owner.
6. Your physical or electronic signature.

Response to Notices

Upon receipt of a valid DMCA notice, gib.gg may remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material. We may also notify the user responsible for the content so that they may submit a counter-notification if appropriate.

Counter-Notification

If you believe that material you uploaded was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification. A valid counter-notification must include:

1. Identification of the material that has been removed or disabled and the location where it appeared before removal.
2. Your name, address, telephone number, and email address.
3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled due to mistake or misidentification.
4. A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court in your judicial district (or if outside the United States, the jurisdiction of the courts where the service provider may be found).
5. Your physical or electronic signature.

Repeat Infringers

gib.gg may terminate access for users who are determined to be repeat infringers or who repeatedly upload material that violates applicable copyright law.
