      "title": "ARES4.WAD",
      "description": "ARES4.WAD is a single-map deathmatch level designed exclusively for Doom II, optimized for 4 players but playable with 2 or 3. The map features an open layout encouraging intense crossfire combat without any monsters, focusing purely on player-versus-player action. Resources and weapons are distributed to prevent repetitive starts with the same weapon, promoting balanced gameplay. The environment uses marble and industrial textures with some dark areas accessible via tricky exits and switches. The level is linear in progression with a unique BFG platform mechanic and no new graphics or sounds, ensuring vanilla Doom II compatibility.",

The first time we tested the level, we played it until one of us\nreached 150 kills. (About an half-hour straight) You never start with the\nsame weapon too many times in a row which gets rid of the excuse of someone\nalways being better with a particular weapon. The exit is a little tricky to\nopen, but there is one. The exit to the dark areas in the corner also\ndouble as invisible switches that raise a door in the wall on the same walkway.\nThe door can be found easily in the start because the texture doesn't touch\nthe floor of the catwalk right. Beware of the BFG platform. If you ride up\nit, you're not comming back down unless someone throws the switch for you.\n\n* Construction *\n\nBase : New Level From Scratch\nBuild Time : 10+ hours\nEditor(s) used : DEU 5.21\nKnown Bugs : None\n\n* Copyright / Permissions *\n\nAuthors MAY use this level as a base to build additional\nlevels, as long as you include the name of my wad in your\ndecription file as a credit to your work.\n\nYou may do whatever you want with this file.\n\n* Where to get this WAD *\n\nFTP sites:\n\nBBS numbers: 1-802-655-4302 Fugazi BBS - ask SysOp for it by name\n\nOther: Request to my E-Mail Account."
