But, as it's a PWAD, you'd\nbetter have a Pentium with 8 Megs. I've designed the first level of the\nepisode and I've experienced some problems running it. You'd better do this:\n* The first level is huge (about 250 bytes), so it needs more machine. If\n you don't have a Pentium (like me), you should reduce the graphic detail\n if you're playing in \"Chuck Norris\" skill level;\n* The rest of the levels runs well, except for \"City\".\n\n[2.0] - About Hello Software\n ====================\nHello Software is new on the \"Doom\" scene. None of our WADS were put on the\nInternet... until now. Well, it's a bit late, OK! But just now we had the\nwhole idea, and we worked hard on it. We are a small group, you'll see.\n\n[2.1] - The guys from Hello Software\n --------------------------\nHello Software is:\n\n Rodrigo Chamusca --- Graphics, sounds and (some) levels\n\nIt's me. The other guys blame I'm too slow on making levels, but I did all\nof the graphics on the game. The weapons, screens... everything. I did not\nhave time, you know... About the sounds, well, everybody worked on it.\n\n Renato Pinheiro --- A LOT OF LEVELS and sounds\n\nHe has some great ideas. Like making the Imps (and Cacos, Barons...) say\n\"HADOKEN\" when they throw their fire balls... He did tons of levels, as you\ncan (can you?) see.\n\n Lincoln Tavares --- Technical support and sounds\n\nIf you hear someone saying \"Da-lhe!\", it's him.\n\n[2.2] - Projects for the future\n -----------------------\nWe (maybe just me) have some ideas for the future. Like making levels for\nDuke Nukem, Heretic or Hexen, and Quake (who knows?). I'm thinking of an\nepisode where our old friend, the space marine, shows up in Medieval Age.\n\n[3.0] - What is new on \"HELLO!.WAD\"?\n =============================\nA lot of things. Screens, sounds, levels and (Oh yes!) weapons have changed.\n\n[3.1] - About the weapons\n -----------------\nI guess that when you've played the game you've noticed that the weapons are\ndifferent, haven't you? These really-cool-weapons \"came\" from Duke Nukem 3D,\nthe best \"shoot and kill\" game (after Doom, of course). These weapons gave me\na lot of work, but they look really nice in the game. Look what is new:\n* Old pistol --> New pistol. But don't try to kill your friend with\n this, because it's still slow. He will thank you for that.\n* New Shotgun! Don't you think that Duke Nukem's shotgun is really nice?\n* Chaingun --> Chaingun Cannon. Another state-of-art.\n* Rocket Launcher --> RPG. Now it's bigger and smoother.\n* Plasma Gun --> Freezer. Sorry, it doesn't make any ice cubes.\n* BFG9000 --> Shrinker. I prefer \"guts\" instead of \"pigmeus\".\nAlthough the weapons have changed, the ammo is still the same.\n\n[3.2] - Levels and creators\n -------------------\nHere's a list of the levels on the game. There are fourteen levels, two of\nthem are secret. The names in the game are in Portuguese.\n\nMap 01 - O Predio (The Building) by Rodrigo Chamusca\nMap 02 - Presidio by Renato Pinheiro and Rodrigo Chamusca\nMap 03 - Aldeia (Village) by Renato Pinheiro\nMap 04 - Hello by Renato Pinheiro\nMap 05 - Hello II by Renato Pinheiro\nMap 06 - Cemiterio Maldito (Pet Sematery) by Rodrigo Chamusca\nMap 07 - Os 12 Macacos (12 Monkeys) by Rodrigo Chamusca\nMap 08 - Fortaleza (Fortress) by Renato Pinheiro\nMap 09 - Comando Delta (Commando Delta) by Renato Pinheiro\nMap 10 - Wolf by Renato Pinheiro\nMap 11 - Maraca by Renato Pinheiro\nMap 12 - Quake by Renato Pinheiro\nMap 13 - Cidade (City) by Renato Pinheiro\nMap 14 - Final Doom by Renato Pinheiro\n\nAs you can see, Renato created most of them. Call it \"level designer\".\n\n[3.3] - Tips\n ----\n* Some of the levels (attention to \"Fortress\",\"City\" and \"Quake\") can only\n be finished by shooting things. Examples are switches that don't work by\n pressing it (you must shoot), and that \"angry\" Baron faces. If you are\n stuck on the level, pay attention to these things.\n* If you can not find the red key on \"City\", it's because it's hided on the\n library. The key is on the left-corned bookcase. Press it and it will come\n down.\n* Attention on \"Quake\". Exit may \"mean\" anything on this level.\n\n[3.4] - Bugs\n ----\nIf you find any bug, tell us. We've played the levels a lot of times and did\nnot find any. The only apparently bug is on \"Building\". It happens when\nplayers get out of the building and go outside. Some flashes (looks like\n\"Hall of Mirrows\" bug) appears when you stay in certain angles. It happens\nbecause of the complexity of the level, Doom supports only 256 lines at the\nsame moment, and the structure of the level has exceed this limit. But don't\npanic, it doesn't affect gameplay anyway.\n\n[4.0] - About the sounds\n ================\nCreating new sounds was the funny part of it. You're going to hear some odd\nsounds, some of them I'm sure you'd heard before.\nSome of the sounds have been extract from other games (like Thexder), others\nwere made by Hello Software.\n\n[5.0] - Copyright\n =========\n\n[5.1] - Editors used:\n -------------\nDCK version 3.61 by Ben Morris\nWaded version 1.83 beta by Mathew Ayres\nWadcat version 0.6 by Mathew Ayres\nWintex version 3.4 by Olivier Montanuy\n\n[5.2] - Sounds:\n -------\nPistol sound from \"D4GOLDBT.WAD\"\nPlasma and rocket sounds from the game \"THEXDER\"\nOther sounds created by Hello Software\n\n[5.3] - Permission\n ----------\nYou can distribute it to anybody.
