Combat is constant and monster-heavy, with lots of hitscanners backed by imps/cacos and several barons, culminating in a Spider Mastermind encounter. Despite a wide weapon set including plasma and even a BFG, ammo can feel tight for the 178 monsters, though medikits and stimpacks are fairly common. Progression revolves around blue and red skull keys with a generally non-linear, teleport-assisted layout.",
