This is my sixth release. ;)\n\nThe series is called Blind Alley and will be about seven to ten levels.\nThey will all be released as singles and then combined once the series is finished.\n\nMy original design as map 27, now running on level 1.\n\"Monster Mansion\" was inspired by Alien Vendetta and Requiem levels.\n\nDon't look for a theme on this one, I don't know if there is one.\nI am pretty sure this place only exists in my mind. Artistic license used freely. ;)\n\nA nice medium sized map with real decent attention to detail. In fact this may be the nicest of my maps so far.\n\nYou will never have for hunt for ammo in here. That is the least of your problems.\nThere is enough health and ammo that you can push as hard as you want for time, or\njust lay back and snipe at the monsters. Nice to have the option isn't it?\n\nI would love to see any lmp's done for the level. Feedback greatly appreciated.\n\nI have been mapping for about five years. This is the sixth of my levels that I feel is OK\nfor release. It is a very fun map. Detail is nice, but the concentration here is on gameplay.\n Some good old fashioned run and gun in here. Stay awake however, or you could get very dead.\n\nI consider this map somewhat hard in UV. UV in this map is aimed at the experienced player.\nSkill levels could come in handy until you learn the map.\n\nA Legacy version 1.40 LMP is included in the zip file.\nFile name: BARnm.lmp, The demo is a no monster walk through, showing the layout and the secrets. "description": "A medium-sized, highly detailed Doom II map with a mixed mansion/techbase-meets-hell look (wood, brick, marble, and rocky textures) and full use of all three skull keys. Combat is dense and aggressive, with lots of hitscanners backed by large numbers of imps plus several mid-tiers (revenants, hell knights, mancubi, barons) and a few arachnotrons, often feeling trap- and setpiece-driven. For a typical UV run it plays hard but fair thanks to plentiful ammo and solid health/armor, and teleports are used to support the flow and encounters.",
