Author Info : This is my first Doom WAD that i've released, but\n\t\t\t don't underestimate it! I've spent a good deal\n\t\t\t of time making this WAD and made many unreleased\n\t\t\t WADs. If you like loads of baddies, loads of guns\n\t\t\t and loads of cool rooms, then this is for you!!!!\nDescription : For single player, read the story below. You\n\t\t\t basically wander around killing everything in sight\n\t\t\t <G> Where have I seen that idea before??!!! There\n\t\t\t are some neat tricks, you may have to watch the demo\n\t\t\t to complete it properly but try to figure it out\n\t\t\t yourself! Ultra-Violence is VERY hard and\n\t\t\t nightmare is just stupid!!! If you can complete it\n\t\t\t on nightmare, record a demo and send it to me!! I'd\n\t\t\t like to see it done!!! Find the vacuum cleaner and\n\t\t\t suck brains out!!! It's great fun! Do it to your\n\t\t\t mates in a multiplayer game!! They make a kinda\n\t\t\t slurping noise!!! Visit my web page shown above\n\t\t\t for some screen shots...\n\nAdditional Credits to : * My Dad for telling me about the real \"Blue Streak\"\n\t\t\t * My brother for the feather duster idea\n\t\t\t * iD Software\n\t\t\t * The makers of DoomCAD v6.1, DEUSF, WinDEU and\n\t\t\t WINTEX and Endoomer\n\t\t\t * Doug Ryerson for the new status bar thing which I\n\t\t\t ripped from his Pure Evil WAD\n\t\t\t * Author of DALEKY.WAD for some extra GFX\n\t\t\t * Author of REDDWARF.WAD for the lift sound\n\t\t\t * Skywalker,(author of NIRVANA.WAD) for intermission\n\t\t\t music\n\t\t\t * Mark A. As you can see in\n some parts, I am a bit crap at aiming, my Dooming\n skills have unfortunately suffered over the past\n few weeks, although I am soon getting my old skill\n back!!! Anyone for a deathmatch? :-) I had\n to kill myself at the end though, it crashes if you\n try and exit the level.\n\nTo play with new graphics you'll need to add all sprites to a graphics WAD,\nI've included a setup batch file and DEUSF.EXE to do this.\n\n* Construction *\n\nBase : Scratch.\nConstruction time : 8 months (on and off, mainly off)\nEditors used : DoomCAD v6.1, Wintex v4.3, PSP, SB sound utils,\n\t\t\t DEUSF, WinDEU v5.99b1, Endoomer\n\nKnown Bugs : None, please tell me if you find any and I'll\n\t\t\t fix them!\n\n* How to play *\n\nJust unzip the file BLUESTR.ZIP into your Doom2 directory and type\n\tbluestr install\nThen when you want to play Blue Streak Doom, type\n\tbluestr\nAnd that's it! Nuclear weapons were stockpiled and a\nnuclear power station provided materials for the weapons and powered the\nhuge mass of military buildings. This huge operation was code-named\n\"Blue Streak\". Hundreds of people were conscripted to go to the Moon\nbases and train for a huge war that never was. The top scientists\nconducted experiments on the soldiers, trying to make them perfect nuclear\nsoldiers. Then one day an experiment went drastically wrong, the reactor\nin the power plant reached critical and blew up. The moon bases were\nblown apart and hundreds of people were killed. All communication to the\nbases was lost and no-one on Earth never truly found out what happened on\nthat unfortunate day. For over 30 years the moon bases have remained a\nlost nuclear waste dump, left to moulder and decay in the ravages of time.\nAlien bacteria, carried to the Moon on meteorites spawned and mutated\ncreatures of hideous forms roamed the Moon bases, that is until now...\nIt is your job to clean out the Moon Bases, and find out the truth behind\nwhat happened there, 30 years ago.... You are equipped with no more than\na feather duster and a pistol, maybe you can find a Hoover or a shotgun in\nthe large expanses of the Moon Bases.... Nearing the Moon your navicom\npicks up sign of humanoid life, surely, it cannot be....? Your ship land\nsafely on the lunar surface, not far from one of the Bases. Already you\ncan hear grotesque noises emanating from inside. You see a way in, you\npush open the door and behold the vast Moon base........."

"description": "A large, classic Doom II techbase/industrial map built from STARTAN and computer-panel textures, with nukage and lava accents and a few teleport-linked areas. Combat is dense and varied, leaning heavily on hitscanners (lots of shotgunners/chaingunners) backed by mid-tiers, plus multiple boss-class threats including a Spider Mastermind and two Cyberdemons. For a typical UV run it plays hard but well-armed, with most weapons available (including plasma and BFG) and plenty of rockets/cells and big health pickups. Progression uses all three keys (including a yellow skull) and teleports, suggesting a somewhat trap-prone key-hunt structure rather than a straight line.",

It contains no monsters, weapons, ammo, or pickups, making it effectively a non-combat interlude or placeholder. Progression appears straightforward with no keys, teleports, or secret exit, and it should run fine in vanilla-compatible ports.",

Combat is essentially a single Arch-Vile encounter, but you’re given extreme firepower (BFG, multiple plasma rifles and rocket launchers) plus strong powerups like invulnerability and a megasphere. For a typical UV run it should play easy due to the overwhelming resources, with straightforward, linear progression and no keys or teleport navigation.",
