I'm uploading\n                          this one to try to get a feel for how they will\n                          fare in the Actions Forum. Any 'constructive'\n                          criticism would be appreciated. A lifetime(almost)\n                          of work(play?) has gone into these wads. Please\n                          E-mail me and let me know(either way-good or bad).\n                          I have toned down the number of monsters con-\n                          siderably (maybe too much) from the original to\n                          make it playable starting with a pistol. In\n                          LORDDOOM.WAD this is level 8.\n                          The setting is somewhat medieval/modern. I do\n                          have a keen interest in castles and I think it\n                          is reflected in my wads. The scenic quality\n                          is pretty good (I think anyway) but I need\n                          additional input on playability.\n                          An overall storyline is still on the drawing board\n                          for the complete set of wads, however this wad\n                          is set in an arena in which you have to face off\n                          3 challengers to gain your freedom. They have said large crates\n                          have been unloaded and deposited inside the\n                          compound. You remember a previous experience\n                          with lots of crates when you were a newbie,\n                          almost two years ago. You hated crates then\n                          and you still do, but some of these crates\n                          are larger and look differnt. It's almost\n                          nightfall now (you remember hating the dark,\n                          too) and you reach down for your only\n                          companion, your shotgun, and realize to your\n                          horror it's back at the village.
