Author Info : An avid Doomer since 12/10/93 (The Day),\n now working with a cool new P90 (Yay!)\n at home and the 386/40 (Yuck!) at school.\n A sophomore at U of Michigan, currently\n studying CS. I haven't made a deathmatch\n WAD yet, so I had to try my hand at it!\n\nDescription : A deathmatch designed with fun and balance\n in mind. The feeling of this level is fairly\n open, just a few largish rooms and some\n interconnecting passageways. It's not\n intended to be a frag-fest, but more of a\n fair competition. (Average life span is\n greater than 5 seconds... :)\n\n Everyone has a weapon nearby when they\n start, generally within 10 or 20 feet.\n All players start with 200% health, to\n make the battles a little longer lasting.\n The deathmatch spots are designed to\n eliminate unfair \"start-up frags\".\n\n Every weapon is available, although it is\n more and more difficult to get to the\n more powerful weapons. There are some weapons\n sitting in cages, with a switch next to 'em;\n hit the switch to give access to that weapon\n elsewhere in the level.\n A quick rundown:\n Rocket launcher: switch and weapon itself\n are in the arch-room.\n Plasma: has two triggers, the switch and\n walking on one of the ledges.\n BFG: The easiest weapon to get, but you\n pay if you do. Or, go the hard way (no\n secrets involved, but still a long ways\n to get there), find the BFG-in-a-cage,\n and get it that way. You'll be off free\n as a bird.\n Super Shotgun: (Doom ][) Check the green\n room.\n\n It's a very good idea to play this level with\n the alt-death rules. <hint hint>\n The exit switch is clearly marked, non-coop,\n and can't be hit accidentally.\n\nAdditional Credits to : The developers of Doom, DEU, and BSP.\n Andy Chen and Claude Martins, authors\n of the Invasion WADs, for permission to\n use their cool status bar.\n Playtesters: Kevin Cox, Andy Yuan, and\n Joe Hartford.
