Martin Friberg teamed up quite soon\n to help us.\n\n There are a few new textures in there, all being\n commercial quality and no fucking MS Paint CRAP.\n\n Any switches you find have to do with the exit.\n There are no switches to reveal weapons or other\n goodies.\n\nSome thoughts from the\naurhors of Overload: If you think these levels are too small - go play\n something else. Overloads levels are small because\n we wanted them that way. You dont like respawnfrags?\n You like to hunt your oponent? You hate symetric\n levels? Then dont play Overload, because its not\n made for you. However, if you feel like some\n insanely fast DM play in damn good looking levels,\n Overload is for you.\n\n Some other things which has made these maps\n symmetrical are the facts that they are small (in\n case noone noticed) and if one made them irregular\n it could give unfair disadvantages in forms of\n starting points closer to weapons and such. Better\n cover in some places. Also, *some* of the source\n ports that support high resolutions will have the\n map titles and stuff wrong. Blame them, not us.\n\nMAP01\nTitle : Fragtastic\nAuthor : Ola Bjorling\nDescription : 4 Pillars is all you have to hide behind. This is\n a shotguns-only level. Lots of respawnfrags, but\n it's quite easy to fool your opponent as you\n respawn...\nConstruction time : About 10 hours (had to redo it from scratch since\n EdMap felt like eating it. Argh!) The texture\n aligning took ages.\nGameplay pace : INSANE\nRecommended # of players: 2\n\nMAP02\nTitle : Deja Vu\nAuthor : Ola Bjorling\nDescription : A very small level consisting of 4 identical rooms\n each holding 1 weapon; Super Shotgun,\n Rocketlauncher, Chaingun and BFG 9000.\n Learn to use all the weapons and you'll have a\n huge advantage.\nConstruction time : originally made in 30 minutes and then fine-tuned\n for an additional hour and a half.\nGameplay pace : INSANE\nRecommended # of players: 2\n\nMAP03\nTitle : Close Quakecounters\nAuthor : Ola Bjorling\nDescription : Quake'ish level with neat 3D effects and nice\n level of detail. Weapons are Rocketlauncher,\n DB shotgun and Plasma rifle.\n If you learn to use the SSG and RL in\n combination, the victory will be yours.\nConstruction time : About 20 hours.\nGameplay pace : MEDIUM\nRecommended # of players: 2 - 3\n\nMAP04\nTitle : Threesome\nAuthor : Ola Bjorling\nDescription : Triangular little bugger that looks a bit like\n a temple. Weapons are DB shotgun and rocketlauncher.\n Learn to aim or you'll frag yourself with the\n rockets...\n Some slime-trails in this one, seems impossible to\n get rid of.\nConstruction time : About 20 hours.\nGameplay pace : INSANE\nRecommended # of players: 2\n\nMAP05\nTitle : Fort Fury\nAuthor : Ola Bjorling\nDescription : A small yet innovative DM level that makes great\n use of jumping. Extremely detailed level.\n Weapons to be found are Shotgun, DB shotgun and\n the Plasma rifle.\nConstruction time : 20-30 hours.\nGameplay pace : MEDIUM\nRecommended # of players: 2 - 3\n\nMAP06\nTitle : Satans Circus\nAuthor : Nicklas Linnes and Ola Bjorling\nDescription : Quite large area-wise, but you can see your\n opponent almost all the time, making it very\n high-paced.\n Nicklas did the basic layout while Ola cleaned\n it up and added some decorative details.\n It's a bloody miracle it doesn't VPO...\n Weapons are Shotgun, DB shotgun, Chaingun and\n the Rocket launcher.\nConstruction time : 20 hours.\nGameplay pace : HIGH\nRecommended # of players: 2\n\nMAP07\nTitle : Frag Isle\nAuthor : Nicklas Linnes\nDescription : A small altar of some sort in a little valley.\n Weapons are rocketlauncher, Super Shotgun,\n Shotgun, Chainsaw and Chaingun.\nConstruction time : Nicklas doesn't wear a watch.\nGameplay pace : INSANE\nRecommended # of players: 2\n\nMAP08\nTitle : Panic Is My Name\nAuthor : Tobias Forsberg and Ola Bjorling\nDescription : Very simple layout, but with some funky detailing\n and great gameplay.\n Weapons are Plasma (RL in skill 3), Shotgun and\n Super Shotgun.\nConstruction time : 15 hours.\nGameplay pace : INSANE\nRecommended # of players: 2\n\nMAP09\nTitle : Satans Sewers\nAuthor : Tobias Forsberg\nDescription : Run around in these ancient, dark sewers and kill\n people. Thats it, really.\n Weapons are Chaingun, Shotgun and Super Shotgun.\nConstruction time : 20 hours.\nGameplay pace : HIGH\nRecommended # of players: 2\n\nMAP10\nTitle : Ruins Of Valhalla\nAuthor : Nicklas Linnes\nDescription : Probably the most detailed map in the WAD. The old\n Norse Gods must have been kind to Nicklas and done\n some kick-ass node calculating as thanks for the\n maps name. Otherwise it'd get a VPO for sure.\n Weapons are Rocketlauncher, Plasma, Chaingun,\n Shotgun, Super Shotgun and Berserk.\nConstruction time : Nicklas can't tell the time.\nGameplay pace : HIGH\nRecommended # of players: 2\n\nMAP11\nTitle : Paranoia\nAuthor : Ola Bjorling\nDescription : A map heavily inspired by Frenzy (map03) in\n MRDOOM30.WAD. Round and round it goes, but with\n a twist - learn to use the little windows and you\n have a huge advantage! See the demo in the WAD.\n I would have put more detail in there if it wasn't\n for the Visplane limit.\n Weapons are Rocketlauncher and Super Shotgun.\nConstruction time : About 15 hours. (Had to redo it from scratch)\nGameplay pace : INSANE\nRecommended # of players: 2\n\nMAP12\nTitle : LLAWEHTNIELOH\nAuthor : Tobias Forsberg\nDescription : The only really non-symetric level in Overload.\n Weapons: Chaingun, Shotgun, Super Shotgun,\n BFG 9000, Rocketlauncher\nConstruction time : 20 hours. took 19 to spell the title.\nGameplay pace : MEDIUM\nRecommended # of players: 2 - 3\n\nMAP13\nTitle : Screaming Fury\nAuthor : Martin Friberg and Ola Bjorling\nDescription : Open arena-style level.\n Weapons are Super Shotgun and Rocketlauncher.\nConstruction time : 20-30 hours.\nGameplay pace : INSANE\nRecommended # of players: 2\n\nMAP14\nTitle : Frag-Mentation\nAuthor : Nicklas Linnes\nDescription : A tight bugger for people with good steering.\n Weapons: Shotgun, Super Shotgun, Rocketlauncher,\n Plasma, Berserk, Chainsaw, Chaingun\nConstruction time : Time is only an illusion, anyway.\nGameplay pace : HIGH\nRecommended # of players: 2\n\nMAP15\nTitle : High Fragquency\nAuthor : Nicklas Linnes\nDescription : This map earns its name with its high gameplay\n speed. The design is somewhat inspired by the works\n of Iikka Keranen.\n Weapons are Chaingun, Chainsaw, Shotgun and Super\n Shotgun.\nConstruction time : 71654 seconds.
