Go figure. :P\n So yeah, I'm some weird guy who does weird stuff.\n\nDescription : First off, I would like to state one... statement.\n This is NOT a jokewad.\n\n Yes, the levels are not exactly the most serious. Yes,\n some detailing looks like it's been done by a two-year\n old. However, if someone asks if this is the newest\n successor to the SHiTWADS regime, the answer is a firm\n NO.\n\n TurboCharged ARCADE! is not intended to be screwy, but\n to be different. An experimental wad by nature, TcA\n focuses on putting the player in odd situations, which\n require different techniques and ideas to beat them.\n It's sort of a throwback to the old days of arcade\n games, with short, sharp levels and a bit of freedom\n to choose whichever type of level suits your fancy.\n\n In TcA, you can take a journey to foreign\n hellish landscapes, dive across rooftops whilst\n dodging bullets in slow motion, escape from insanely\n overpopulated prisons, and face off against the\n devilish Adolf Hitler in a showdown for the ages...\n all in whatever sequence you desire!\n\n A core aspect to the gameplay in TurboCharged ARCADE!\n is the fact that the entire game's speed has been\n doubled. Enemies attack twice as fast, weapons are\n souped-up and speedy, and you'll be running for your\n life at top-speed in almost every situation. The\n action is non-stop, and the increased speed will test\n the reflexes of even the most hyperactive individuals.\n\n TcA's intentions don't stop there, either... on top\n of the wild-and-crazy gameplay aspects, this wad is\n also intended to be funny as all hell. With all sorts\n of ridiculous situations, overly-retarded parodies,\n and over-the-top randomness, I'm hoping that\n everyone will have to stop playing at least once\n because they're laughing too damn hard to keep\n themselves alive. :P\n\n However... as you may have noticed, this release is\n only a very tiny 8-level demo release of TcA. What,\n you may ask, will the full version offer? Imagine,\n obscene amounts of levels with incredibly varied\n styles of gameplay and difficulty. Sporting a new\n interactive level-selection system and hours upon\n hours of random gameplay, TcA will feature just\n about everything but the kitchen sink!\n\n Anyway, enough with the salesman-type advertising...\n This guy may not be finished for a LONG time, but\n in the mean time, stay tuned at the ZDoom forums,\n as I'm pretty sure that the full version will feature\n a whole slew of levels from all over the community...\n as I simply can't crank out all of them on my own. :P\n\n In the meantime, download and enjoy this small sample\n of things to come. It's still a\n demo, eh? :P\n\nMay Not Run With... : I must refrain from using a typical sharp object joke.\n\n* Map Information *\n\nWhoa, what the deuce have I done to the textfile template? Well, anyway...\nI'm going to take this time to outline the levels and provide a few tips. :P\n\nMap01 - \"At Home\"\t\t\tType: None\n\tScreaming in rage, you throw the remote control against the wall in\n\tdisgust. \"There's nothing on TV, damnit!\" Argh... this means there's\n\tnothing left to do but to actually venture to the unknown: outside.\n ProTip - Don't eat the yellow snow.\n\nMap02 - \"Go To Hell\"\t\t\tType: \"SHOOT\"\n\tNot only is it not heaven, but it is also hell. Are you gonna let the\n\tdemons get away with taking you before your due time? Make them regret\n\tthe day they ever decided to steal your soul.\n ProTip - Keep in mind that everything is twice as fast now... although it's\n\t tempting to run out with guns blazing at 2x speed, remember that the\n\t demons can do the same to you as well.\n\nMap03 - \"Prison Rape!\"\t\t\tType: \"SPEED\"\n\tAfter a long hard day of picking up hookers, one would hope to have a\n\tchance to relax and watch the football game. However, after being\n\tarrested by the police, suddenly getting an STD from a prostitute\n\tbecomes the least of your worries.\n ProTip - Not much to say... just KEEP RUNNING. :P\n\nMap04 - \"You Are Pablo Picasso\"\t\tType: \"STICK\"\n\tWhoever said that famous artists are only popular once they're dead?\n\tPicasso's Back, and he's pissed and about to paint the most\n\tcontroversial picture of all...\n ProTip - Don't turn. Use strafe for sideways movement... it's way easier.\n\nMap05 - \"Battleshit\" : \t\t\tType: \"SLASH\"\n\tCybies are such jerks, but sometimes they love to play a good\n\tboard game now and then. Battleship is a fan favorite, and when a lone\n\tmarine is threatened with his life, his fate resides in a simple game\n\tof Battleship... with a twist!\n ProTip - Don't get too close to the bad mother, but don't run into the\n\t arena walls, either. A happy medium is a happy victory.\n\nMap06 - \"Go Eat Shit, Sherlock!\" : \tType: \"STORY\"\n\tThat pesky detective steals all the fame, the fortune, the women, the\n\tthe men... and so on and whatnot. He's about to begin the biggest case\n\tof his entire life... but what would happen if he were to somehow call\n \tin sick and someone else were to take over?\n ProTip - If you're having trouble hunting down all the demons, make sure to\n\t check every room, nook and cranny. Oh, and don't be fooled...\n\t although the hallways may seem quite safe, you'd better get the hell\n\t out before you get a baron shoved down your throat. :P\n\nMap07 - \"The Matrix Has You\" : \t\tType: \"STYLE\"\n\tNeo, Trinity, Morpheus. The slightest mention of one of these names\n\tsends cheers rippling throughout a crowd. But c'mon... these guys are\n\toverrated as hell! Anyone can pull off sweet slow-motion moves and\n\tridiculously overpowered fighting techniques. All it takes is a little\n\thacking, and a little imagination...\n ProTip - In slow motion, the bullets still move faster than you'd think.\n\t With reduced motion, make sure to always start dodging early.\n\nMap08 - \"I'm Hitler\" : \t\t\tType: \"SHRED\"\n\tHe's back, and quite pissed for having lost World War II. Don't let\n\tthis guy start the next batch of nuclear warfare. The only Holocaust\n\tshould be the global extermination of all Hitlers!\n ProTip - If you're lucky, during certain forms Hitler has a slight chance of\n\t accidentally nailing himself with his own attack. Keep this in mind.\n\n* Copyright / Permissions *\n\nAuthors MAY use the contents of this file as a base for\nmodification or reuse, as long as you credit me in some form.\n\nYou MAY distribute this file, provided you include this text file, with\nno modifications.
