Author Info : Long time Doomer, look me up on idgames\n\nDescription : Rowdy Rudy's Revenge: a 10 map partial conversion.\n 100% vanilla, heavy on the dehacked.\n\n The Story:\n\n When it was founded in 2055, the UAC was a force\n for good. Their research led to the development of\n teleportation, extreme advances in medicine and\n leaps in interstellar travel.\n\n In 2080, the leader of the Cult known as 'The\n Protectors' spoke to then president of the UAC.\n There was an instant change from that day\n forward. The president suddenly announced a new\n project to open a gateway to the so-called\n 'spiritual realm'. Some employees of the UAC\n questioned this decision and left, however many\n remained. As time went on, less and less time and\n funding went towards egalitarian causes and\n more was funneled into the Spiritual Portal\n Project.\n\n Rudy and his brother Jamal are ex-marines, doomsday\n preppers and conspiracy theorists. While the UAC\n and The Protectors have tried to\n keep quiet about their recent project, a few have\n infiltrated UAC bases and leaked information. The\n Protectors and the UAC had plans to finally open\n their 'spiritual portal' in the middle of the city.\n Jamal went to the site, armed to the teeth, but was\n brutally killed along with several hundred others\n when their attempt to open\n the portal failed, resulting in a massive\n explosion. Since then there have been reports of\n almost zombie-like people wandering the\n streets and attacking civilians, many of them\n dressed in hoods and capes worn by The Protectors.\n\n Rudy is overcome with anger at the loss of his\n brother. Using his knowledge of UAC operations, he\n makes his way up into the hills to a secret base.\n He plans to take them down by force and kill\n anything they throw at him, avenge his brother and\n save the world from any more destruction caused by\n the UAC or The Protectors. Ultimately, he must find\n the heart of their operation and destroy it.\n\n Good luck!\n\n New Enemies and Weapons:\n\n While Rowdy Rudy's Revenge remains largely a\n classic-Doomy experience, there are a number of\n changes to enemies and weapons. Here is a detailed\n list so you know what to expect when you play.\n\n Cultist\n HP: 30\n This is your basic cannon fodder. (Sprite created\n by Raven Software, Neoworm, Tormentor667)\n\n Shotgunner\n HP: 40\n (Sprite created by Mark Quinn, Vegeta,\n Ghastly_dragon, MagicWazard)\n\n Weak Chaingunner\n HP: 50\n Only drops a clip rather than a chaingun. (Sprite\n created by HorrorMovieGuy)\n\n Tough Chaingunner\n HP: 90\n Your classic chaingunner.\n\n Blind Pinky\n HP: 150\n He cant see but he sure can smell. (Sprite created\n by HorrorMovieGuy)\n\n Toxicacodemon\n HP: 400\n This little bugger makes his way into a lot of my\n wads. Spits a Baron's toxic ball.\n\n Flame Caco\n HP: 580\n Spits waves of fire and small fireball projectiles.\n Very deadly up close.\n\n RPG Zombie\n HP: 120\n Fires a revenant's homing missile, high pain\n chance.\n\n Plasma Guy\n HP: 90\n Behaves like a weaker arachnotron. (Sprite from\n anubis.wad)\n\n There's also a bayonet weapon and repeater-rifle\n instead of fists and a pistol. They both deal more\n than twice as much damage as their original\n counterparts and the rifle is 100% accurate!\n Perfect for all the snipers out there.\n\nAdditional Credits to : The texture resource used here is \"High Resolution\n Textures w/o the High Resolution\", converted by\n 40oz with thanks to Kurikai for maintaining the\n JDTP. Various graphics have also been lovingly\n borrowed from Freedoom, mainly a few HUD elements.\n The weapons are from blackglov.wad by Grimm, the\n Alpha Dooms and Complex Doom, with further edits\n and recoloring done by myself. The playpal lump\n comes from the original DBZ Doom. Various graphical\n resources were borrowed from older versions of\n Skulltag.wad. The HUD sprite of Rudy's face was\n based on Zharkov by Xaser with recoloring and\n further editing by myself.
