"title": "Shotgun Frenzy 1.4 Unofficial Patch",
"description": "This unofficial update patch modifies Shotgun Frenzy v1.4, focusing on fixing exploits related to infinite money and gameplay balance. It introduces a new console variable to adjust bonus money for late-joining players, maintaining the original default behavior but allowing customization. The patch corrects credit and upgrade cost displays, prevents recycling of unavailable weapons, and restricts mech weapon use to proper conditions. No new maps are included, and the content is designed for ZDoom engine compatibility. The patch serves as a quality-of-life and exploit fix rather than a standalone WAD or mapset.",

The source has been modified\nto address several known exploits which users are exploiting\nto get, essentially, infinite money.\n\nAlso, to discourage users hopping between spectating / playing,\na new console variable has been added to adjust the bonus money\ngiven to players joining later in the game. The default behavior\nis identical to the original, official release (I mentioned this\nrelease is unofficial, right, and you shouldn't bother any of the\noriginal authors if a problem arises with this release, right?).\nIf you want to reduce the credit bonus, issue something like\n\nset sf_creditcorrection -8\n\nSensible values are from -10 (no credit bonus) to +infinity,\nthough the sensibility of the latter is debatable. Negative values\nreduce the credit bonus for new players / people joining from spec.\nPositive values increase this bonus.\n\nThings fixed (that I remember):\n Credit / upgrade costs listed in menu now match actual costs (some were mismatched before)\n Cannot recycle dualshot razor when you don't have it (people love to exploit this one)\n Hopefully impossible to use the mech weapons while not in the mech (less common)\n\ncontact: t3hdoom@gmx.com"
