If anyone can fix em feel free, and give yourself credit\n at the bottom of this TXT file.\nMultiplayer support : Yup } As all these levels were designed and tested on\nDeathmatch support : Yup ) my trusty 486/SX25 I haven't tested these although\n I suspect somelevels will work better than others.\n\n ** Important **\n This is not another \"I wonder how many Barons of Hell I can fit in\" set\n of levels. It is possible to complete these levels without typing any\n of the cheats, just remember to save regularly and enjoy the adrenalin\n rush :).\n\nTo run : Just unpack OBLIVION.ZIP / .ARJ or whatever in your Doom directory and\n type \"oblivion\". Alternatively just put oblivion.wad in your Doom\n directory and type :\n\n doom -file oblivion.wad\n\n this will replace the entire Inferno episode with Oblivion.\n\nLevel descriptions :\n\nMission 1 - Arena Author - Malcolm Jarvis\n\nThis level is pretty huge. All weapons are available apart from the BFG-9000\nand there are plenty neat touches IMHO. You start off headed towards the\nArena in search of the yellow and red keys to escape to the rest of the level.\nDon't fall off the bridge lest you be burnt, mauled and generally hurt in the\npit below. There are two secret bits to find, one easy and one hard. There are\ntwo BoH but they're difficult to find and you are well rewarded - just remember\nnot to be too greedy. Once you're out of the arena keep an eye out for sneeky\nCacodemons. Hint : Ignore the Cyber-foozle, he's just there as a portable\nunseen missile laucher to get you hurrying along the corridor, just dont try\nfight him (can if ya want, just don't blame me if you get nuked :)). You'll\nfind the exit somewhere around Hell Keep (you'll know it when you see it).\n\nMission 2 - Darkness Author - Chris Moir\n\nThis is Chris' first level and its pretty scary. There's a secret door near the\nstart through which you'll find a Soul-Sphere and an Invulnerability but at what\ncost? Unsurprisingly this level gets somewhat dark at points and you might find\nusing the map the only way of finding your way out of some rooms.\n\nMission 3 - Death Caves Author - Chris Moir\n\nA huge underground complex of interlinked caverns and tunnels makes this level\nextremely unpredictable as one shot in the wrong place can activate all the bad\nguys at the same time! Still its a great laugh and one of my favourites.\n\nMission 4 - Explosions! Author - Malcolm Jarvis\n\nThis level is a short but funny one. The first section has loads of traps in\nthe way of exploding barrels (there's over 400 of em <bg>). After this a short\ntrip through some imp infested caverns where there is a secret supply cache.\nThe only other advice I'm giving you is to follow the Yellow Sick Toad?!? :)\nHonest...\n\nMission 5 - Complex Author - Malcolm Jarvis\n\nThis level incorporates my first ever rising stair case (pretty easy really),\nand a horde of Imps (my least favourite). Places to look out for are the cells\nand the computer room. Things get pretty nasty around here so remember to save\nregularly. If you do things right you should some off this level with 100%\nhealth and armour (you'll need 'em).\n\nMission 6 - Castle of Dread Author - Malcolm Jarvis\n\nThis level is situated in a huge castle complete with courtyard, dungeons and\nthroneroom. I resisted the temptation to put a BoH in a throne as there's one\nalready down the dungeons! Don't panic to much though - the BFG-9000 is on\nthis level too <g>.\n\nMission 7 - Lair of the Imps Author - Chris Moir\n\nThe Imps house can be found at the end of this level, following a maze of\nmonster haunted corridors. There are two BoH hanging around here but they're\nnot too hard to see off. The nasty bit with the Sergeants and the walls\n(YKIWYSI) was Rab Smith's idea and the only one he's had so far this year.\nStill, the entrance to the secret level is somewhere around here - but you'll\nmeed a Rad-Suit to get to it. Oh yeah, the candles mark your take off point?!?\n\nMission 8 - Lair of the SpiderDemon Author - Malcolm Jarvis\n\nI thought that instead if the usual walk along, fight monster, end episode thing\nI would put a level in first. Seeing as this is level eight I figured I could\nput some real nasties in so save, save, save! This in mind there are less\nBoH than last level. The SpiderDemon isn't all you have to worry about in his\nlair, but once you've killed his lackies you can turn the scenery to your\nadvantage (I ended up killing it with the shotgun, so it can't be too hard).\nThe most useful thing here is the Blur Sphere, but you'll have to get to it\nfirst!\n\nMission 9 - Satan's Throneroom Author - Chris Moir\n\nI made the mistake of telling Chris he could put anything he wanted in the\nsecret level so I had to talk him out of half of the bad dudes. All the same,\nthis is one smart level and worth finding (or typing IDCLEV39 if you're too\nlazy :)). There are a number of nasty optical illusions around so mind your\nstep. Don't fall in a pit of eternal peril or you'll soon be perilled to\ndeath! It would appear that Satan isn't home right now but I'm sure the\ncleaner will give you ample trouble!\n\nAlthough there is no distinct similarity between any of these levels there is\na strict order of difficulty which should be challenging at the same time as\nbeing enjoyable.\n\nAcknowledgements :\n\nAnyone and everyone who had anything to do with DEU, the most excellent WAD\neditor in existance IMHO.\n\nEveryone else who puts so much effort in to designing Doom WADs. I make a\npoint of collecting as many as possible and I get plenty of ideas and hints\nfrom them.\n\nID (of course) for creating the best game so far this century.\n\nChris, for occassionally taking my advice and getting rid of some monsters and\nputting some textures in that weren't STARTAN3.\n\nAnyone capable of completing Doom without sticking Degreelessness mode on or\nVery Happy Ammo.\n\nAcronyms (For the confused) - IMHO : In My Humble Opinion\n YKIWYSI : You'll Know It When You See It\n\nAdditional notice - Don'y knock the GUS. Although in some situations its SB\n emulation sucks, it is mostly very good. Doom's atmosphere\n increases 100% when using a big set of stereo speakers in\n the dark - try it... you might like it. <g>\n\n ==============\n Demon July '94\n =============="
